Hello...

I have read some of the stories of people's plea's and I thought I may as well add mine.  Maybe you can all help me too. 

Mine is similar to others already posted.  I am a single parent with two daughters going to college.  I make enough money to not be considered poverty or low income but not enough to do anything else but get by.  Everything I make pretty much goes to living.  I have spent hours on the internet looking for the elusive scholarships, grants or fellowships.  We don't seem to be qualified for any of these. 

So if any of you know where they are and how to apply, please let me know.  I don't want my daughters to start off after graduation owing tens of thousands of dollars in loan debt.  I don't think an education should be based upon how much money is made.  Both my daughters can get into excellent colleges based on their grades.  The only thing standing in the way is the financing.  I am sure this is true for many students.  Please help if you can.  Any advice or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I have been reading everyones stories of need and decided to post my own.  I am in the same sitution as many others.  Single parent with two choldren to put through college.  I make too much money to be considered 'low' income but not enough to have any extra.  All I make goes to existing.  That's it.  

So I have spent hours looking for help with funding college for my daughters.  I don't want my girls to graduate owing tens of thousands of dollars.  I don't think any kids should have to do that.  Anyway. if anyone has any tips on where to find these elusive scholarships or grants, please let me know. 

I just want the best for my kids and I don't think an education should be based on what a parent earns.  Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
